As the principal designer spearheading the development of Tatcha's inaugural retail stores, I was entrusted with shaping the core concept and material strategy. Managing all facets from store layouts to brand aesthetics, I collaborated seamlessly with teams spanning Seattle, California, New York, and Japan. Together, we crafted intricate 3D renderings and material prototypes to present to Tatcha's leadership, laying the groundwork for the design ethos of the initial three stores. I am proud to say that these foundational principles endure, informing the blueprint for Tatcha's ongoing global expansion.
